Vein Treatments

Step One

The first step is a consultation where Dr. Harper and staff will conduct a thorough medical history and examination of your troubling veins.   The goal is to identify and eliminate the source of your vein issues.   

Step Two

For most patients a detailed ultrasound mapping is part of their consultation.  This map creates an illustration of the venous blood flow identiying normal and abnormal veins. 

Step Three

In the thrid step Dr. Harper will present his findings and your treatment options.  When it comes to your veins, Dr. Harper understands that the treatment recommendations should reflect the individual nature of each patient.

Common treatment options include:  Endovenous thermal ablation (Closure, Laser), ambulatory phlebectomy, sclerotherapy and compression therapy.   For more detailed information on these treatment options choose from the above sidebar menu.
